Your people. An actual plan.

Tonight
called.
Bring your
people.

Your existing friends. One “Anybody?”
A small plan for today.

A quick example. Nothing gets sent.

A little less “someday”

From “anybody?”
to “see you there.”

Start small. Keep it private. Make it real.

A look inside

Your circle.
Your kind
of evening.

Roommates. Old friends. Your favourite small crowd. Friendby starts with people you already know.

An Anybody? checks whether a same-day plan lines up. A possible group comes next. Your yes comes after you see the plan.

A social app with somewhere to be

The best part
happens off here.

01 / Familiar faces

Your people,
already.

Private Circles of existing friends. No strangers to swipe through. No public feed to keep up with.

02 / Room to decide

A maybe is
just a maybe.

Answers stay private. A proposed group is revealed together. Everyone explicitly commits before a Drop locks.

03 / Make a move

Same day.
Real life.

A small group of 3–5. A confirmed plan. Then a good reason to put your phone away.

Before you ask

A few things.

Can I download Friendby yet?

Friendby is in development. There is no public app download or confirmed launch date here yet. You can email Alex to express interest in trying it with your Circle.

Is this for meeting strangers?

Friendby is built around private Circles with people you already know. There is no public discovery feed.

Does everybody see my answer?

No. Your individual response stays private. When a compatible group lines up, its proposed members are revealed together. Being open or saying maybe is not a commitment; you decide once you see the plan.

Does Friendby track where I am?

Friendby does not use background location or continuous proximity tracking. The development app has optional one-time foreground location for plan context. This website does not request your location.

Who is Friendby for?

Adults aged 18 and over who want to spend more time with their existing friends. Start with your small, trusted Circle.

Still building. Already looking forward to it.
